This project consists of a request for proposals from qualified contractors to provide services to remove biosolids from the city of Monmouth’s wastewater treatment facility lagoons.

The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of or beneficially reuse biosolids that reside in the city’s facultative sewage lagoons. Biosolids may be applied to agricultural land, disposed of at a landfill, or otherwise reused or disposed of in a manner that meets all Department of Environmental Quality and Environmental Protection Agency requirements, as well as all other applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
