This project consists of renovating an existing fire station at 6846 Oswego Place N.E. in Seattle. The building is a city landmark, and all work will be in accordance with the certificate of approval on file with the Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board.

Work includes demolition of selected interior finishes, furnishings and partitions, and selected mechanical and electrical systems within the concrete fire station; abatement and removal of all existing built-up roofing; removal of existing apparatus bay doors; construction of decontamination and gear cleaning facilities; renovation of kitchen area; installation of a new floor system; interior finishes; removal of asbestos-containing materials; and other work.

The engineer’s estimate for the project is $953,147.
