The city of Beaverton is requesting sealed bids for hauling asphalt material using 10- to 12-yard dump trucks. The hauling service includes using solo-dump trucks or truck and transfer to haul the asphalt material for various city construction projects.

The city intends to award a contract for one year, with the option to renew up to four additional one-year periods. The term of the initial contract will take effect July 1 and last through June 30, 2012.

The contract review board is scheduled to award the contract on June 7.
