This project consists of drilling a new slim-diameter vertical well, approximately 5,000 feet deep, at the Garland Mineral Springs project site for resource characterization and production of geothermal fluids. The site is approximately 12 miles north of Skykomish, Wash., in Snohomish County.

The well is expected to be between 4,000 and 6,000 feet deep, depending on geologic conditions. The well will be drilled from a new drilling pad, to be constructed within project boundaries. The contractor shall drill a water supply well near the site to provide water for project purposes.

It is anticipated that this bid will be awarded on June 23.
