RFP: Construction Manager/General Contractor Services for Community Police Facility

On Nov. 2, 2010, Troutdale voters approved $7.5 million of dedicated tax resources for construction of a proposed community police facility. The building will be located at Southwest Second Street and Kendall Avenue in Troutdale.

The city determined that for this project, the construction management contracting method is in the public鈥檚 best interest. Proposals are now being sought from qualified contracting firms for Construction Manager/General Contractor services for the new facility. All on-site and off-site work will be included. The construction estimate is $5.5 million.

Evaluation and negotiations are scheduled for June 15-22, and notice of intent to award will occur on June 23. The contract is scheduled to be awarded June 30.
