Though I appreciate TriMet’s efforts to inform Portland residents about the Portland-Milwaukie light-rail project through its Bridgeview video series, I’m still hankering for more information about the project.

Looks like I’m in luck.

The Citizens Advisory Committee of the Portland-Milwaukie light-rail project will meet in southeast Portland Thursday to discuss the latest developments of the multimillion-dollar public transportation project.  The committee is made up of representatives from neighborhood associations, people with disabilities, cyclists and local business owners. The meetings are an opportunity for the committee to advise the staff on design, construction and local impact issues of the light-rail project.

During the , TriMet project manager Rob Banard will give a brief project finance update, followed by a construction progress update. The public will have a chance to comment.

Where: St. Philip Neri Parish, Carvlin Hall

2408 S.E. 16th Ave.
