Construction companies help raise $100,000 at PCC golf tournament

Portland-area construction firms helped raise nearly $100,000 at a golf tournament and fundraiser on Thursday for the . Look at the good you do!

More than 150 golfers hit birdies and eagles (and even some golf balls, ha!) at Heron Lakes Golf Course for the PCC Foundation Golf Invitational. The teams were sponsored by local building industry firms, and the event was primarily sponsored by , , and , though several local firms chipped in. See all the sponsors .

The winner? Send your slaps on the back to the team, which came in first place with a score of 54. The team was made up of Neil Antonini, Scott Martin and Korey Shimojima.

The PCC Foundation helps students get funding for higher education. Funds raised in the golf tournament will go toward PCC’s efforts to develop curricula for sustainable construction practices and help the school provide scholarships for construction, architecture, building inspection and electrical trades programs.
