Property developers familiar with聽 might want to take note of Multnomah County‘s newest property mapping tool.

Located at聽, the website offers detailed property information for properties in the unincorporated areas of Multnomah County.

Adam Barber, a land use planner for the county, said interested developers could use the system to check out a parcel’s slope, see whether it’s in a flood plain or identify its zoning, among other things. He said the website would be helpful when doing high-level comparisons between multiple properties.

鈥淭hat’s the kind of information that would be very quick and easy to get on this system,鈥� Barber said.

He said that property owners can also use a built-in measurement tool to measure their land and see how much space they have to work with in regards to future development plans and zoning regulations. He said he thinks the site will be a valuable time-saver for users and his office alike.

鈥淲e’re not here at the front counter sorting this out,鈥� he said. 鈥淭hey can be at home drinking coffee, ruling out certain types of development patterns that might not make sense for their property and then they can come in and say, 鈥榳ell here’s what I was thinking.’鈥�
