General contractor is performing renovation work on the Otesha Place Apartments, a three-building, 11-unit low-income housing complex owned by Sabin Community Development Corp. at 1488 N.E. Alberta St. in Portland. The buildings were constructed only about 15 years ago, but they had excessive moisture damage because of improperly installed flashing and poor attic ventilation. LMC has installed new roofs, trusses and parapet walls on the three buildings, and performed seismic upgrades. The building is also receiving new siding, windows, doors, gutters and downspouts; work is expected to be completed by late August. Project partners include and .
