Pearl District childcare facility moves to bigger space

Robert Todd Construction is renovating a Pearl District storefront space for WeVillage, a drop-in childcare facility which is moving from a smaller space on the same block. The 2010-square-foot former furniture store at 1024 N.W. Glisan is being outfitted with custom walls and cabinetry. Other work includes updated sprinklers, plumbing, fire and mechanical systems. Work on the project began last month, and is slated for completion this week. Design work on the job was performed by Dan Young of Oregon Business Architecture.
