General contractor SD Deacon is performing a tenant improvement on the fourth floor of the Alderway Building in downtown Portland for AppNexus, a New York-based software engineering firm.

Work on the eight-week project includes two weeks of demolition to create open office space and installation of nine conference rooms, reconfiguration of the lobby, raising sprinkler pipes and water lines in order to raise the ceiling, new floors and finishes, installation of new duct work, painting of trusses and celings, and replacement of crown molding. The project’s designer was New Jersey-based Habjan Architecture and Interior Design, while served as the architect of record.
