The Daily Journal of Commerce held its first ever Women鈥檚 Business Expo and Conference Thursday at the Governor Hotel in downtown Portland. The event was organized to connect women in the building trades with other accomplished women and the organizations that want to work with them. The day鈥檚 highlights included a panel discussion on the challenges faced by women in the industry moderated by Lois D. Cohen, founder of Lois D. Cohen Associates, and a keynote address by Darcie Harris, founder and CEO of EWF International.
