O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders is building a drug and alcohol treatment and living facility in Northeast Portland for Home Forward and LifeWorks Northwest. The three-story treatment wing of the facility will house Project Network, LifeWorks Northwest’s six-month recovery program for women with children, while the Beech Street Apartments wing will contain 32 clean and sober affordable apartment units.
The project was designed by Holst Architecture, and Gerding Edlen is the developer. Work on the nearly 70,000-square-foot project, which is targeting a LEED for Homes rating, is expected to be completed next summer.
