A pre-application conference is requested for construction of a 20-story mixed-use building at 418 S.W. Second Ave., one of Downtown Development Group’s Ankeny Blocks properties that is currently the site of the 110-year-old Governor Building. The proposed building would contain ground-floor retail space, office space on floors 2-8, and 182 residential units on floors 9-20, with four levels of below-grade parking. The applicant is Agustin Enriquez of GBD Architects, and the owner is Block 38 LLC.
A Type II design review is requested for minor changes to the Block 20 residential tower in the Pearl District, which was issued a foundation permit last month. The applicant is Leslie Cliffe of Bora Architects, and the owner is Hoyt Street Properties LLC.
A Type II design review is sought for a new multi-story apartment building at 5009 N. Interstate Ave. An existing retail building at the site would be demolished. The applicants are Bob Thompson and John Jamiel of TVA Architects, and the owner is Helen’s Investment Property LLC. An early assistance application for the project filed in September was for a five-story building with over 70 residential units and ground-floor parking.
A Type II design review is requested for a proposed five-story multifamily development with approximately 157 apartments at 8614 N. Crawford St. The project is one of several planned by Mainland Northwest in the Cathedral Park neighborhood. A Type II design review is sought for a five-story multifamily building with one level of below-grade parking at 6620 N. Richmond Ave. – also a Mainland Northwest development. The applicant is Joshua Lupkin of SERA Architects, and the owner is Mainland North Richmond LLC.
A Type III design review is sought for two high-rise residential towers, each with around 7,000 square feet of retail space and between 300 and 550 market-rate apartments and below-grade parking, in the South Waterfront District. The project location is a 7.68-acre tax lot bounded by Southwest Bond Avenue to the west and the Willamette River to the east, and Lane Street to the north and Thomas Street to the south. The applicants are Susan Makris of GBD Architects and Jonathan Stone of San Mateo, California-based Prometheus Real Estate Group, and the owner is The Landing at Macadam LLC.
A separate Type III design review is sought for construction of two seven-story mixed-use buildings at the site, each containing approximately 200-300 residential units and 5,000 square feet of retail space, as well as 150-250 parking spots both underground and at grade. The two applications reflect an expansion of the project from a pre-application requested in July, which was for four seven-story buildings with 200-300 units each.
A Type III design review is requested for a seven-story mixed-use building at 1440 S.W. Taylor St. The proposed building would have 107 residential units and consist of five wood-framed stories over a two-level concrete podium. The applicant is Robert Leeb of LEEB Architects, and the owner is C&R Realty Co. A design advice application for the project filed in March was for a smaller building, with six stories and 81 units.
A Type III design review is pending for a new mixed-use building with 173 residential units, ground-floor retail space and 110 parking spaces at 2222 N.W. Raleigh St. The applicant is Kurt Schultz of SERA Architects, and the owner is 2222 Raleigh LLC. The project is being developed by Cairn Pacific.
A Type III design review is sought for construction of a high-rise building on a Downtown Development Group-owned vacant lot at 1116 S.W. Washington St. The proposed building would have below-grade parking, retail space on the first two floors, office space on up to six floors and up to 213 residential units. The proposed building would have 21 units and 37 structured and surface parking spaces.
