  • Design advice is sought for a pair of mid-rise mixed-use structures at 3714 S.W. Macadam Ave. The proposal calls for two buildings with approximately 200 residential units each, as well as commercial space and parking for approximately 240 cars in each garage structure. The applicant is Alama Manhattan Block 43 LLC of Dallas, Texas, and the owner is FAVA LLC, which is registered to real estate broker Doug Bean. A Type III design review was requested for the property in January; that proposal, filed by Kurt Schultz of SERA Architects, was for two seven-story buildings.
  • Early assistance is sought for demolition of a garage and addition of three new three-plex units at 3947 S.E. 136th Ave. The applicant is Larry Krause of Chalet Homes, and the owner is HKN Properties One LLC. The applicant is also seeking early assistance to add a new three-plex and a four-plex to a property at 3625 S.E. 136th Ave. The owner is Alvina Dietz.
  • Early assistance is requested for construction of approximately 170 units of affordable senior housing to be developed on a 1.37-acre site formerly used as a TriMet park-and-ride lot at the southwest corner of Southeast 124th Avenue and Ash Street. The project will be slab-on-grade with four stories of wood framing, with site parking at 0.25 spaces per unit and bike parking.   • Early assistance is sought for a proposal to construct two buildings on two separate tax lots at 3723 S.W. Hood Ave. The two identical buildings would each have 13 residential units, and each unit would have private decks and a common shared outdoor area. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, and the owner is Frank Petock.
  • Early assistance is requested for a four-story multifamily development at 1206 N.E. Alberta St. The proposed development would have 48 residential units, ground-floor retail space and residential support spaces, including a lobby, management office, bicycle storage and common utility spaces. The applicant is Ben White of Carleton Hart Architecture, and the owner is Virtuous Developments Inc. of Vancouver, British Columbia.
  • Early assistance is sought for an expansion and new entrance to Willamette National Cemetery at 11800 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd. The applicant is Allen Drebi of Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., and the owner is the United States of America.
  • Early assistance is requested for replacement of Cleveland High School鈥檚 turf field. It鈥檚 located at 3111 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Nicholas Sukkau of Portland Public Schools.
  • Early assistance is sought for construction of five new townhomes and demolition of an existing single-family home at 954 N.E. 80th Ave. The applicant is John Voekel of Framework Engineering, and the owner is Swift Development LLC.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for a 14-lot subdivision, which would be served by a private street and common court, at 14716 S.E. Powell Blvd, Unit A. A single-family home on an adjacent lot at 14639 S.E. Rhine St. would be demolished. The applicants are Michael O鈥機onnell and Joshua Schlesinger of Schlesinger Companies, and the owners are Beverly and Gregory Moreland.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for improvements to the Adventist Medical Center campus at 10501 S.E. Market St. The proposed work would increase campus space by 107,726 square feet, including a build-out of the remaining 47,226 square feet of shell space in the pavilion, an expansion of the nursing tower by 50,000 square feet and construction of a 10,000-square-foot child care/day care facility. In addition, improvements that will not add square footage include repurposing former inpatient psychiatric facilities in the hospital鈥檚 north wing for other medical uses, and adding a 58,000-square-foot community garden. The applicant is Stefanie Slyman of Harper Houf Peterson Righellis, and the owners are Oregon Conference Adventist and Chip Faulmann of JLL Adventist Health.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for a three-parcel land division at 1401 N. Hayden Island Drive. The applicant is Jennifer Rinkus of Baysinger Partners Architecture, and the owner is Thunderbird Hotel LLC.
  • A pre-application conference is pending for proposed ground-level and third-floor rooftop improvements to the Congress Center building at 1001 S.W. Fifth Ave. Improvements would include renovations to the southwest corner entry plaza and building entry fa莽ade, conversion of a third-floor roof to a building amenity terrace, and vehicular ingress/egress along Southwest Salmon Street for below-grade parking. The applicant is Craig Stockbridge of GBD Architects, and the owner is ASVRF Unico Portland I LLC.
  • A Type II design review is sought for a renovation to the exterior roof deck at the terrace level of the 200 Market Building at 200 S.W. Market St. Improvements would include removal of deck landscaping, replacement of roofing, new landscaping and a new canopy with lighting. The applicant is Tim Grinstead of GBD Architects, and the owner is Two Hundred Market Assoc LP.
  • A Type II design review is pending for installation of 16 long-term bike parking spaces and 14 short-term spaces on the east end of the eastbound platform of the Goose Hollow WSLRT station at 1838 S.W. Jefferson St. The applicant is Charles Kelley of ZGF Architects.
  • A Type II design review is sought for the addition of retail entrances and exterior canopies to support retail leasing at 1107 N.E. Ninth Ave. The applicant is Whit Middlecoff of GBD Architects, and the owner is AAT Lloyd District LLC.
  • A Type II design review is sought for demolition of the former OHSU School of Dentistry Building at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The applicant is Keith Jones of Harper Houf Peterson Righellis, and the owner is the state of Oregon.
  • A Type III design review is sought for the eastside expansion of Providence Park to 鈥渃reate a more inviting sports venue and to amplify the sound and energy created by the Timbers Army and fans throughout the stadium.鈥 The applicants are Chelsea Grassinger of Allied Works Architecture and Mike Golub of the Portland Timbers, and the owner is the city of Portland.
  • A Type II historic resource review is pending for repairs and updates to the storefront of a building at 524 N.W. 23rd Ave. that sustained damage in a gas explosion last year. The applicant is Laurie Simpson of Connect Architecture, and the owner is Timothy Gray.
