• Design advice is pending for a six-story mixed-use building at Northeast 106th Avenue and Halsey Street. The building would include 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, 9,000 square feet of second-floor office space, 75 apartments (including affordable units) and 60 surface parking spaces. The applicant is Dave Otte of Holst Architecture, and the owners are Prosper Portland and Portland Parks & Recreation.

• Early assistance is sought for a proposed four-story, 91-unit studio apartment building at 105 N. Killingsworth St. The applicant is Joshua Scott of Snohomish, Washington-based micro-housing developer Koz Development, and the owner is Flowershop Building LLC.

• Early assistance is requested for a proposal to develop a vacant parcel on the 8800 block of Southeast Powell Boulevard with a 42,000-square-foot clinic, a 52-unit senior housing building, and associated parking and landscaping. The senior housing project would likely be developed by another entity, and the site would be divided to allow for separate ownership and include a shared use agreement for the parking. The applicant is Nancy Merryman of Merryman Barnes Architects, and the owner is Agena Corporation of Toppenish, Washington.

• Early assistance is sought for construction of six two-story buildings consisting of townhomes and duplexes with 41 total housing units on a property on the 800 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue. The largest building would hold 26 apartments, community space and resident service spaces. The applicant is Derenda Schubert of Bridge Meadows, and the owner is Oregon Yearly Meeting of Friends Church.

• Early assistance is requested for a proposed building with 60 apartments (including affordable units), as well as amenity and retail space, at 5134 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Giovanni Sidari of Waechter Architecture, and the owner is Seattle-based development firm Build Urban.

• A pre-application conference is pending for revisions sought to previously-approved skin material on the west and south facades of a planned 15-story hotel at the corner of Southwest 11th Avenue and Alder Street. Mortenson will replace a quarter-block building formerly occupied by the United Way with a Hyatt hotel. The applicant is Katalin Czege of SERA Architects, and the owner is H E Portland HC LLC of Chicago.

• A pre-application conference is pending to discuss construction of the Portland River Center, a boathouse on the north end of the OMSI campus in southeast Portland. The two-story, 29,000-square-foot facility would include boat storage and staging areas, classrooms, a small office, workout spaces with showers and restrooms, and interior and exterior river-viewing areas. The applicant is Patrick Quinton, and the owner is the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

• A pre-application conference is pending for future code information for the rebuild of Lincoln High School at 1600 S.W. Salmon St. The applicant is Becca Cavell of Bora Architects, and the owner is Portland Public Schools.

• A Type II adjustment procedure is pending for a four-story workforce housing building with 175 units (all affordable), a community space, a courtyard, offices and 43 parking spaces on a 1.37-acre site formerly used as a TriMet park-and-ride lot at the southwest corner of Southeast 124th Avenue and Ash Street. Adjustments requested are for loading standards placement, setback and landscaping. The applicant is Michael Bonn of Ankrom Moisan Architects, and the owner is Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon.

• A Type IIx planned development amendment is sought for a four-townhouse development at 2726 S.E. 26th Ave. The applicant is Gauri Vengurlekav of Fieldwork Design & Architecture, and the owner is LHM Partners LC.

• A Type II design review is pending for redevelopment of an existing Jacksons Food Store at 5524 S.E. 82nd Ave. A Type II nonconforming situations review is also sought for the site. The applicants are Caryl Pinner and Charles Moseley of Kent, Washington-based Barghausen Consulting Engineers Inc., and the owner is Pacwest Energy LLC of Meridian, Idaho.
