Building permits issued for Nov. 12-16

• A total of ten alteration permits with a combined value of $1,700,000 were issued on deferred submittal for improvements to the Executive 1801 apartment complex at 1801 N.E. 162^nd Five permits valued at a total of $850,000 were issued for precast concrete stairs, and five permits valued at $850,000 were issued for guard rails. The applicant is Chris Johnson of contractor Summit RWP Inc., and the owner is Executive 1801 LLC.
• A $1,833,737 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new tenant on the third and sixth floors of the Towne Storage building at 221 S.E. Ankeny St. The project will add interior partition walls to offices, conference rooms and restrooms. The applicant is Cesar Villanueva of Mackenzie, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is 224 Fifth Madison Park LLC of Los Angeles.
• An $8,587,575 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, 59-unit apartment building at 6370 N.E. 42^nd The building will contain a lobby, management office, resident services and community spaces, and bike storage. The applicant is Julie Mollner of Carleton Hart Architecture and the owner is Eric Paine of Newport Beach, California-based Holman 42 Limited Partnership. No contractor is listed.
• A $1,095,115 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 5080 N.E. 33^rd The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, the contractor is Elliott Properties Inc., and the owner is Caifu I LLC.
• A $1,000,000 new construction permit was issued for a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 4730 S.E. Belmont St. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, and the owner and contractor is Structure Redevelopment LLC.
• A $1,027,985 new construction permit was issued for a three-story, 15-unit apartment building at 6940 S.E. Long St. The applicant is Vasiliy Krasnogorov of contractor Red Hills Construction Inc., and the owner is Li’s Enterprise LLC.

Building permit intakes for Nov. 12-16

• A $20,280,770 addition permit is under review for the renovation of the existing three-story, 150,000-square-foot former Nordstrom space at the Lloyd Center mall at 901 N.E. Lloyd Center. A separate permit valued at $1,466,500 is also under review for selective demolition of the west anchor space, including removal of the existing third story, clerestory lantern structure and roof structure. • A $19,686,450 new construction permit is under review for a new nine-story mixed-use building with 176 residential units over ground-floor retail and mechanical parking at 820 S.E. Alder St. The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, the contractor is VWR Development LLC, and the owner is Alder 8 Apartments LLC.
• A $1,100,000 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, five-unit hotel with first-floor office space at 4946 N. Vancouver Ave. The applicant is Bob Schatz of Allusa Architecture, the contractor is Yorke & Curtis, and the owners are Aaron and Meghan Saito.

Alaska St. A total of 14 mechanical alteration permits valued at a combined $359,088 were also issued for the project. The applicant is Kevin Saxton of KASA Architects, the contractor is LMC Construction, and the owner is Home Forward.
• A $1,500,000 alteration permit is under inspection for a tenant improvement for Young’s Market Company in a warehouse building at 16913 N.E. Cameron Blvd. The applicant is Seth Sorenson of Mackenzie, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is CPUS Cameron LP of Addison, Texas.

• A $705,000 alteration permit is under review for MRI replacements at Oregon Health & Science University at 3251 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The applicant is George Larson, the contractor is Hoffman Construction Company, and the owner is the state of Oregon.
