Building permits issued for March 11-17

• A $1,869,473 addition permit was issued on deferred submittal for storefront and curtainwall systems on Providence Park at 1844 S.W. Morrison St. The applicants are Vivian Calvin and Huey Na of Turner Construction Co., and the owner is the city of Portland.

• A $4,477,038 addition permit is under inspection for the new four-story South Building, a mass-timber office building atop an existing three-story parking garage at the Adidas campus at 5060 N. Greeley Ave.

• A $7,272,835 new construction permit was issued for a 72-unit apartment building with four stories of living space over two stories of structured parking at 6331 S.W. Canyon Court. The applicant is Thomas Clarey of owner Sylvan Office Park LLC, and the owner is Keyway Corp. The building is one of four in a large residential development at the site. Over $17 million worth of permits were issued last fall for the three other buildings, which will hold 195 total units.

• A $1,776,652 new construction permit was issued for a three-story, 30-unit apartment building at 4626 N. Maryland Ave. The applicant is Jennifer Farmer of contractor and owner Citycraft Development LLC.

• An $819,240 new construction permit is under inspection for a parking lot at the PDX Logistics Center at 10101 N.E. Alderwood Road. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

Building permit intakes for March 11-17

• A $500,000 addition permit is under review for improvements to the 705 Davis Condominiums building at 2141 N.W. Davis St., including expansion of existing enclosed balconies, relocation of doors, and reconfiguration of the lobby entry. The applicant is Marissa Brown of Emerick Architects, the contractor is JR Johnson LLC, and the owner is Association of Unit Owners of 705 Davis Condominium.

• A $640,000 addition permit submitted on deferred submittal is under review for curtainwall on a building at the Adidas campus at 5055 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Bellevue, Washington-based PCL Construction Services Inc., and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.

• A $1,100,000 alteration permit is under review for the replacement of a 300-ton water-cooled chiller at an office building at 819 S.W. Oak St. The applicant is Randall Joens of Seattle-based Salas O’Brien, the owner is New Jersey-based AT&T Communications of the Pacific Northwest Inc., and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $660,000 new construction permit is under review for construction of a foundation for modular classroom space and associated site work at Maplewood Elementary School at 7452 S.W. 52nd Ave. The applicant is Amanda Petretti of Studio Petretti Architecture, the owner is Portland Public Schools, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $2,500,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Kaiser Permanente at 3500 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Robbin Gray of Clark/Kjos Architects, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction, and the owner is Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest.

• A $730,000 alteration permit was issued for infrastructure upgrades to OHSU Hospital at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The applicant is Lori Kellow of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is Skanska USA Building, and the owner is the state of Oregon. A $300,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Arctic Sheet Metal.

• A $1,500,000 alteration permit and a $200,000 mechanical alteration permit were issued for an interventional radiology tenant improvement at Portland Adventist Medical Center at 10123 S.E. Market St. The applicant is Sarah Kershner of PKA Architects, the contractor is MA Mortenson Company, and the owner is Portland Adventist Medical Center.

• A $950,000 alteration permit is under review for a speculative tenant improvement to a third-floor suite of the Meier & Frank Building at 621 S.W.
