Industry professionals turn out for business conference

The Daily Journal of Commerce on Thursday held its first women’s business conference, 鈥�A Better Workplace,鈥� at the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland. The event featured two keynote addresses, which focused on 鈥渢ools to improve the work environment for women in the building industries.鈥� Attendees engaged in small group discussions and then networked during a happy hour.
