When Caitlin McCann stepped into her role as marketing manager at Lorentz Bruun Construction a year ago, she hit the ground running. She updated marketing collateral, templates, and databases, re-strategized the overall marketing and business development approaches, created a project forecasting spreadsheet, and developed an internal communication and engagement plan to build morale among employees.

McCann is passionate about bridging the connection between her professional work and community involvement. She has served as a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) for seven years and serves on the board as the director of marketing. There, she鈥檚 launched several initiatives that elevated CREW Portland鈥檚 programming, sponsorship support, and member benefits, all while working to advance diversity and the success of women within the industry.

鈥淐aitlin鈥檚 leadership style is both inclusive and empowering,鈥� said Jen Teckenburg when nominating McCann on behalf of CREW Portland. 鈥淐aitlin is determined and motivated to make a real change in the perception of women by others and the way women see themselves within the commercial real estate industry. Her contributions to Lorentz Bruun Construction and the broader industry have been truly transformative.鈥�

She also is a member of the programs committee for the Society for Marketing Professional Services Oregon chapter and is on the philanthropy committee for REACH Community Development. Four years ago, McCann created a young marketing professional group and today she still serves as the leader of the group, helping coach them, offering advice and ideas to help early-career marketers build success.
