  • Early assistance is pending for a project at 11420 N.E. Holman St. Development of an In-N-Out Burger restaurant with a drive-thru is proposed on a vacant parcel. Plans call for creating 61 parking spaces (the maximum allowed) and a drive-thru lane able to hold 31 motor vehicles. Preservation of existing trees and proposed removals and relocations would be based on an arborist’s recommendations. A 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the western property line would be incorporated. The applicant seeks the early assistance meeting for review of the conceptual site plan and solicitation of feedback from city departments, including but not limited to planning, zoning, stormwater management and transportation to ensure regulatory compliance and a streamlined permitting process. Daniel Pocius of In-N-Out Burger of Baldwin Park, California, is the applicant and Holman PDX Real Estate LLC of Vancouver, Washington, is the project owner.
  • A type 1 procedure (historic resource review) is pending for 512 N. Killingsworth St. Plans call for installation of an exterior, LED-illuminated monument sign on a corner of the property. This is a contributing resource in the Piedmont Conservation District. Gina Blomberg of Vancouver Sign Co. of Vancouver, Washington, is the applicant and Multnomah County Library District is the project owner.
