Sellers works closely with OSHA, AGC and other industry partners to maintain alignment with current safety standards and integrate best practices into daily operations. His involvement begins at the preconstruction stage, where he helps teams identify potential risks before they develop into problems. Throughout each construction phase, he maintains an active presence on jobsites.

Under Sellers’ leadership, LMC has sustained a major-accident-free record dating back to 2004 and achieved an Experience Modification Rating of 0.68 as of 2024.

Sellers is recognized for his collaborative approach with subcontractors, developing site-specific safety plans tailored to individual projects. He emphasizes explaining the reasoning behind safety decisions, whether training new employees or consulting with superintendents. His communication style focuses on helping teams understand how safety practices connect to successful project delivery.
