Washington-based construction firm Kiewit-General-Manson proposed a low bid last Wednesday to replace the aging state route 520 bridge in Seattle.
County manages to shrink Sellwood Bridge funding gap
At a briefing Tuesday morning, Multnomah County staffers presented updated for the project to replace the Sellwood Bridge numbers to the county鈥檚 board of commissioners. The project previously was budgeted to cost $290 million and had a $42 million shortfall. Now the project is budgeted to cost $265 million, and the shortfall is just $20 million.
