It appears the is still a menace to some residents of the Portland-metro area. To help educate the public and assuage the fears of those who think the light-rail project is a flawed idea, TriMet on Monday released episode one of its “BridgeView” series, a so-called behind-the-scenes look at how and why the light-rail line will be constructed.
In the first installment of the series, TriMet community affairs representative DeeAnn Sandberg speaks with TriMet senior project manager Dave Unsworth about the environmental and socials factors that determined the location and type of Willamette River bridge for the light-rail project. The bridge will be located south of the Marquam Bridge and north of the Ross Island Bridge.
