Cully Street upgraded
Cully Street in Northeast Portland is in the middle of an extensive upgrade. The work between Killingsworth and Prescott streets for the Oregon Department of Transportation and the city of Portland calls for installing a new water main, adding sidewalks, building storm-water swales, installing a traffic signal, and upgrading lighting and landscaping.
Cully neighborhood street upgraded
A new water main is a part of the upgrade that is under way on the stretch of Cully from Killingsworth to Prescott streets. The work for the Oregon Department of Transportation and the city of Portland includes repaving, and adding sidewalks, storm-water swales, lighting, landscaping and traffic signals.
Northwest 23rd Avenue
Northwest 23rd Avenue from West Burnside to Northwest Lovejoy Street is being upgraded. The project includes excavating the existing travel lanes and trolley tracks, reconstructing the roadway base, and repaving the surface. The project will also install curb ramps on corners where they are needed and rebuild existing ones to meet new Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
