Remember the blog I wrote entitled, “Pardon Me, Your Slip(Up) Is Showing…”?聽 Well, here is another example of a possible bid-gone-wrong.

The Beaver Landing Reconstruction project bid on July 12th and when we called to get the results we were told that the three low bidders were Kodiak Pacific Construction, TFT Construction, and Brix Paving.聽 However, it seems that the low bid will need to be reviewed by the County Council “due to irregularities”.聽 The irregularities of the low bid were (1) It was turned in one minute after the bid time and (2) The bid envelope was not sealed.聽 (A possible, ‘tongue-in-cheek’ bid’?)
