Bid Results In For Historic Furnace Interpretive Area Project

The City of Lake Oswego has released the results for the Historic Furnace Interpretive Area. The City received bids on the project on August 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm. The three lowest bidders where Seagraves Landscape, West Linn, OR, $79,708.00; Structures In Landscape, Beaverton, OR, $143,437.00; and Arciform LLC, Portland, OR, $160,322.00. Bids are currently under review by the City.

Project consists of improvements to the George Rogers Park adjacent to the recently restored historic iron furnace. Work includes an interpretive kiosk and shelter, custom metal work, flagstone paving and paths, additions and modifications to the existing landscape plantings and irrigation system, and other work.
