Bid Results In For South Bend Jr/Sr High School Project

The South Bend School District has released results for the South Bend Jr./Sr. High School Building ‘A’ Modernization project. The School District received bids for the project on August 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm.

The three lowest bidders are: Christensen, Inc., Tumwater, WA, 360-709-0330: $339,500.00; Andy Johnson & Company, Tumwater, WA, 360-352-3110: $360,000.00; Rognlins, Inc., Aberdeen, WA, 360-532-5220: $371,700.00.

Rognlins Inc. from Aberdeen, WA was bumped to the third lowest after it was found they failed to fill out the mechanical/electrical portion of the bid form.

The South Bend Jr./Sr. High School Building project consists of the replacement of mechanical equipment and electrical service; new roofing; replacement of all doors, frames, and finish hardware; interior finishes; new library entry canopy; and other modernization work.
