The city of Tigard has released bid results for the Beaverton-Tualatin Highway Hall Boulevard Crosswalk project. The city received only two bids for the project on Sept. 3.

EC Co. was the apparent low bidder with a bid of $81,451 but failed to submit an acknowledgment of addenda form and was deemed non-responsive.

Signal Group was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid amount of $91,903. The city intends to award the contract to Signal Construction Group at the City Council meeting on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Tigard Town Hall, 13125 S.W. Hall Blvd., in Tigard.

The Beaverton-Tualatin Highway Crosswalk project consists of the installation of durable pavement markings, installation of signs, installation of pedestrian activated flashing beacon system, implementation of traffic control devices, and other work.  Engineer’s estimate for this project is $93,259.00.
