All Bids Rejected For Daggy Hall Roof Replacement

Washington State University has rejected all bids for the Daggy Hall Roof Replacement. Bids for the project were accepted by the University Facility Operations Department on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m.

After reviewing the bids the WSU has decided to place the project temporarily on hold. The university plans to advertise the project again in January or February of next year for spring .

Brown Contracting & Development Inc. from Spokane, Wash., was the only contractor to submit a bid for the project. Brown Contracting submitted a base bid of $399,000, with a bid alternate of $10,000.

Work for the project includes the removal of existing shingle roof and installing new underlayment, architectural laminated shingle roofing, replacing gutter, and other work for Daggy Hall on the Pullman Campus of Washington State University.

Work is scheduled to be completed within 60 working days of the notice to proceed. The estimate for the project is $204,000 to $243,000.
