Wilsonville High School is getting an all-weather softball field to replace a soil-based field with poor drainage. The new field will have a rock base covered with artificial turf and new fencing. The contract with the West Linn-Wilsonville School District includes a similar rebuilding of a softball field at Rosemont Ridge Middle School in West Linn. Bernhardt Golf is the general contractor and Dull Olson Weekes Architects is the designer of the two ball fields.

Built in the 1920s, the former Portland Fire Bureau Station 7 in Southeast Portland is being turned into a retail-and-office development and the new home of general contractor Bremik Construction Inc. The two-story brick building and attached addition at the corner of Southeast 11th Avenue and Stark Street is owned by developer Venerable Properties. The renovation was designed by Emerick Architects and is being built by Bremik.

The former home of Honeywell Electronics, a one-story building in inner Southeast Portland is undergoing a complete renovation to become Zoomtopia, a 鈥淐ommunity for Creative Enterprises.鈥 The nearly 10,000-square-foot building at 810 S.E. Belmont St. is being divided into spaces that will be owned by arts-oriented organizations, groups and businesses. Brix Contracting is the general contractor and Boora Architects is the designer of the project.
