After reviewing the bids the County found several irregularities in two of the four bids received. The County decided to reject all bids and put the project up for re-bid. The project is expected to be re-advertised early next week.
The project consists of the Phase 2 construction of a new well complete with submersible pump, pitless adaptor, valves, piping, and appurtenances. Work includes water transmission, suction and discharge lines complete with valves, gauges and flow meters, a booster pump station building complete with power, lighting, ventilation, drainage, pipe supports, two booster pumps, chemical treatment system, testing, and other work. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $410,000 – $490,000.
