The city of Portland is accepting bids for the construction of a 2,546-square-foot main house and a 600-square-foot accessory dwelling unit on Portland Water Bureau property at 1514 N.E. 140th Ave.

Work includes complete electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, site utilities and service connections, dry-well installation, and construction of driveway, patios and walks. Work does not include landscaping.

Special prequalification in category 32 construction of sustainable/energy-efficient homes is required.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. in Room 2500 A at 1900 S.W. Fourth Ave. in Portland.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 180 calendar days. The estimated cost of the project is approximately $200,000.
