School Zone Flashing Beacon Project Postponed

Lane County Public Works Department has withdrawn the School Zone Flashing Beacon Installation project. The bid opening for the project was scheduled for Oct. 23 at 10 a.m.

The project has been postponed until a bid opening of approximately Winter 2010. 聽All current plan holders, including primes and subs will be mailed a complete copy of the new bid packet as soon as it is available, at no charge.

The project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 18 solar powered flashing beacons and all other associated work. The estimated cost for the project is $150,000 to 250,000.
