An abandoned building and two empty lots at the corner of North Mississippi Avenue and Skidmore Street have been transformed to become the Mississippi Marketplace. The 1,200-square-foot building is now the Prost! Portland pub, which features German beer and food.

The empty lots are now home to a variety of local food carts and businesses.

Eterne Construction is the general contractor of the project for owner and developer Roger Goldingay.
