Sean Pelletier with Charter Construction Co. gets tools ready for work on The Lofts at Beaverton Round.

After stripping off the old exterior of the mixed-use project at the corner of Southwest Hall Boulevard and Crescent Street, new metal siding will be added along with new windows and doors.

General contractor Charter Construction is in charge of the renovation, with design work by Western Architectural. The work should be completed in a year.
