Klamath Tribes Issue Bid Results for Water System Well Project

The Klamath Tribes has issued bid results for the 2009 Water System Well project. The project was first put out to bid Nov. 6, but had to be re-advertised and re-bid after they received no bids for the project.

The Klamath Tribes put the project out for bid again Dec. 4. The three companies that submitted bids were Western Water Development, Redmond, Ore., $197,400; Casey Jones Well Drilling, Springfield, Ore., $284,955; and Schneider Equipment, St. Paul, Ore., $360,000.

Project consists of the of two 600-foot, cased, 8-inch-diameter wells for a 55-acre housing development in Chiloquin, Ore. The project had an estimated cost of $115,000 to $125,000. Project completion is scheduled for March 1.
