Jeannie Spencer, a controller with Bremik Construction Co., holds one of the 50 Operation Love Boxes that will soon be delivered to her sister, Command Sgt. Maj. Julie Walter, who is stationed at Camp Liberty in Iraq. She will then distribute the boxes to soldiers she works with at the base outside of Baghdad. “This is Julie’s second tour of duty in Iraq, and she has told me how much gifts like these from home mean to the troops,” Spencer said. According to Bremik President Brent Parry, the company decided to forego the usual holiday presents and parties to participate in Operation Love Box and help soldiers.
