A crew from Howard Jacobs Masonry is doing the brick work on a mixed-use office and retail development in Southeast Portland. A major renovation is taking place at the two-story Portland Fire Bureau Station 7 built nearly 90 years ago at the corner of Southeast Stark Street and 11th Avenue. General contractor Bremik Construction Co. is in charge of the work, and will soon move its offices into one of the spaces. Emerick Architects designed the project for owner Venerable Properties.
