Josh Kauffman, left, and Rick Wiley with Lightworks Electric Co. waterproof a light pole on a project for the Oregon Department of Transportation and the city of Oregon City along Highway 99E and the Willamette River. The nearly finished job stretches between Dunes Drive and 10th Street near downtown Oregon City and features a long Ipe wood walkway with metal and wood railings, benches, landscaping and art work. Three metal sculptures that light up at night represent waterfalls while large boulders at the east end of the project form an over-size rock garden with a rustic stone staircase. Also, boulders that are scattered along the walkway have been meticulously encased by the deck wood. General contractor Westech Inc., major subcontractor Todd Hess Building Company and architect David Evans and Associates worked together on the project. More Hot Shots 禄
