Hillsboro Stadium in the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex is getting a new FieldTurf playing field. After the top rock has been placed and leveled, 170,000 square feet of the artificial athletic surface will be installed at the stadium at 4450 N.W. 229th Ave. Bernhardt Golf is the general contractor for the project for the city of Hillsboro. Work is scheduled to be completed in late winter.
