The placement of huge pre-stressed, Bulb-T girders is nearly complete on the Stafford Road Tualatin River Bridge south of in Clackamas County. Scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010, the new bridge will be 445 feet long and 54 feet wide with two lanes for traffic and bike and pedestrian lanes on both sides. There are three spans on the multi-girder structure with the widest being the 165-foot center span. The nearly $10 million bridge is being funded by the 2003 Oregon Transportation Investment Act and Clackamas County System Development Charges. is the general contractor on the project.
