Hickey Marine Enterprises is working on the pilings for a new dock on Hayden Island. Cook Engine, a boat supply and repair company at 530 N.E. Tomhawk Island Dr., is having its old wooden dock replaced with a steel one. The dock accommodates a drive-out crane that removes and installs engines and generators on sail boats and yachts up to 60 feet in length. Hickey Marine, a Vancouver, Washington company that specializes in pile driving and dredging, is the general contractor on the project.
