Whitaker/Ellis is working on a concrete form for the outdoor fire pit in the inner courtyard of the Broadstone Enso mixed-use building in Portland’s Pearl District. When it is completed in the spring, the six-story structure at 1400 N.W. Marshall St. will have 152 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as ground-level office and retail space. The courtyard also features a breezeway, a community barbecue area and artwork. Yorke & Curtis Inc. is the general contractor and Myhre Group Architects is the designer of the project for developer Alliance Residential Company.
