After a recent extensive renovation, a century-old building in Northwest Portland is getting new tenants. The brick structure at Northwest Upshur Street and 18th Avenue will house an art bar and caf茅, a salon and office space. Alternative Surfaces is working on the polished concrete floor for general contractor Todd Hess Building Company. WGS Planned Interiors & Design and Toni King & Associates are the architects for the spaces. The tenant improvements should be completed in the spring.
