Repairing a building is serious business. But one German artist is using a bit of whimsy, and , to draw attention to crumbling structures around the world.
German artist Jan Vormann has traveled from the Big Apple to Tel Aviv inserting the colorful, interlocking blocks into cracks and holes in the walls of buildings. Vormann uses local volunteers young and old to assist him with his repairs.
So far, is the closest Vormann has come to Portland, but I know there are some buildings here with cracks and crannies that could use some brightening up.
