James Hoppe with Schmeer Sheet Metal Works secures a section of new downspout at the Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center at 1819 N.E. Everett St. The historic building, constructed in 1909, was in need of galvanized sheet-metal downspouts. Schmeer designed the new spouts to match the replaced ones and then fabricated them in its Northwest Portland shop.
