Renovation work is under way at a Portland dining institution’s home at the corner of Northwest 22nd Avenue and West Burnside St. The RingSide Steakhouse, in business for 66 years, is being remodeled and gaining a 3,500-square-foot addition that will enlarge the kitchen, create a new wine cellar and add a new dining room that can be closed off for private functions. During the renovation, the RingSide is serving customers at a temporary location in the Fox Tower. Robinson Construction Co. is the general contractor and Scott Edwards Architecture is the designer of the project that should be completed in early 2011.
