The new space for the Oregon Tradeswomen in the Heritage Building at 3932 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. more than doubles the size of the office for the organization that provides education, training and mentorship for women in the construction industry. Trainees and apprentices are performing the remodel work. Industry members like IBEW Local 48 and Platt Electric Supply also have provided assistance. Oregon Tradeswomen needs about $10,000 more in donations to complete the build-out.
