Now that the new addition is completed, the original Shriners Hospital is being remodeled. When work is completed in spring 2011, there will be a new entrance and lobby, new exam rooms and an upgraded outpatient clinic on the first floor. Also, some of the departments will have new spaces on the second floor and new guest and parent rooms will join the third floor. General contractor Andersen Construction Co. and architect SRG Partnership are responsible for both the addition and the extensive renovation.
